Biography

Christopher Nicholson is an abstract minimalist painter living in Concord, Massachusetts.

Christopher was a student of the late painter Mark Potter, from whom he received his formal training as an artist. He attended Wesleyan University before matriculating to the Ph.D. program in U.S. History at Columbia University. Upon graduating from Columbia, he gave in to “practical” thoughts about making it in the real world and made a pivot into real estate development. After several decades of more lucrative pursuits, he has returned to drawing and painting.

His current focus is on hard edged, minimalist painting.
